Olive Garden Parmesan Alfredo Crusted Steak | Gorgonzola Topped Ribeye Steak | Copy Cat Recipe

We are making the new Parmesan-Alfredo Crusted steak from Olive Garden! When I first laid eyes on this tasty looking dish I had to have it! Making it at home was super simple, and that is what I loved about this recipe. Do not go cheap on the ingredients! Quality ingredients can make or break this dish especially with the alfredo sauce. We are using Olive Gardens signature alfredo sauce recipe and it turned out fantastic. Enjoy!

Parmesan Crust Recipe:
1/2 Cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

Combine panko crumbs and grated parmesan with softened butter. Mix well. Place mixture on wax paper and roll tight. Freeze for 20 minutes or until hard.

Alfredo Recipe (from Olive Garden website)
3oz butter
1 TBSP garlic
2 TBSP flour
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup fresh romano cheese, grated
Salt and pepper to taste

1. SAUTEE the butter and garlic in a saucepan on medium heat. Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
2. ADD the remaining ingredients to saucepan and stir occasionally until the sauce begins to simmer. Remove from heat.
3. SERVE the Alfredo sauce over your favorite pasta, like fettuccine, linguine or bow tie

Balsamic glaze:
1 Cup Balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp sugar

Heat balsamic vinegar and sugar in a sauce pan over medium heat. Allow the sugar to dissolve. Bring to a boil then drop heat to low and let it simmer till it reduces down by about half. (20 minutes or so) Looking for a syrup type of consistency.
